Responsibilities
David Syers oversees management of several of Hempel Properties’ office and retail properties. He is the tenants’ first point of contact in addressing concerns or emergencies. Syers is also responsible for managing the property planning, budgeting, emergency and preventive maintenance programs and vendor relationships for each property.

Syers brings a wide range of skills to his role at Hempel. He possesses a strong understanding of mechanical and technical requirements for each property. in addition, Syers focuses on the big picture while not sacrificing the daily operations. He enjoys excellent relationships with tenants, the leasing team and the accounting team resulting in strong communications programs and a high degree of tenant satisfaction.

History of Success
With over twelve years of commercial real estate experience, Syers continues to challenge himself through training and education. He’s a licensed realtor, is a member of the Building owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and is working toward his real Property Administrator (RPA) designation - an honor bestowed by the Building owners and Managers institute (BOMI).
