Responsibilities
Lisa Rother brings over fourteen years of commercial management experience to Hempel Properties. She oversees Hempel’s property management division and is responsible for the development and implementation of property business plans, budgets and capital improvement plans. She ensures consistency of flawless operations and management throughout the Hempel portfolio. Rother also manages the financial reporting process providing comprehensive, accurate and timely reports to our investment partners.

Rother is recognized throughout the industry by bringing a unique emphasis on tenant retention and satisfaction. She wins tenant loyalty by implementing seamless management systems and excellent communications programs. This skill is also applied to the relationships that she has developed with cities and contractors allowing her to bring a wealth of resources to enhancing the value of the properties in the Hempel portfolio.
History of Success
In addition to her years of experience in developing excellent rapport with tenants, vendors, and owners, Rother has achieved the designations of Real Property Administrator (RPA) and Facilities Management Administrator (FMA). Both designations require rigid and exhausting coursework and testing requirements by the Building Owners and Managers Institute International (BOMI).
Rother is involved with the St. Paul Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and was elected to the board to serve the maximum two terms. While on the board, Rother worked closely with the City of St. Paul on their skyway codes and ordinance evaluations. She is also a member of the Greater Minneapolis BOMA and is active in the Education and Programs Committee.
Rother is also highly involved with her community and volunteers with the South St. Paul Open Athletic Association and the Jason Naugle Memorial Scholarship Foundation - a local foundation that raises funds to provide aviation scholarships.
