Responsibilities
As Vice President of Development, Richard Brandt's primary
responsibility is to oversee the development of new regional offices for Hempel Properties (Hempel). He is based in Hempel’s northern
California Regional Office. Currently, Hempel is exploring commercial real estate opportunities to expand to the San Francisco Bay Area, Northern New Jersey, Nevada and the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. Brandt also focuses on providing turnkey development services to third party clients across the U.S.

Strengths
Prior to joining Hempel, Brandt was the Vice President of Architectural Development and Construction for Anton Airfood Inc., located in Washington DC, where he worked exclusively on development of airport restaurants all over the United States. He was responsible for the design, development and project management for more than 120 food and beverage facilities over the course of 5 years.

History of Success
Brandt was also Director of Planning Services for Delaware North
Companies in Buffalo, N.Y. where he worked on a wide variety of
projects both in the U.S. and abroad that were mainly hospitality based. The venues were varied and included sporting facilities, lodging, airports, state and national parks, and casinos.

With over 20 years experience in the design and development industry, Brandt has worked on hundreds of projects virtually in every state with an aggregate total exceeding over a half of a billion dollars.This experience has touched all facets of development and has established long-standing relationships through networking and project success.

Brandt has earned a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Architecture from the University of Buffalo in New York.
